8 posts....

In 8 straight posts (since Mezzo's last) by far the vast majority of the hits to this site are from me coming to see if anyone else has read it or left comments. I think that's an official sign that it's time to wrap it up. What do you think?

Mezzo is back. He was actually back before most of his blog posts about the trip (time shift/tape delay). We have both seen the new futurama. The devices used to engage the plat points seem weak but in reality they don't matter. It's a loose parody of the book Ender's Game, and a few other things, and if you don't go in armed with that knowledge a lot of it just seems stupid. If you have that knowledge then the plot devices appear as a means to an end and begin to seem ironic. So instead of lame they are funny. I really liked it. There was at least on super classic joke concerning a Hobo and a rabbit that will make me laugh until I die. The next one is due in Feb. It's called In to the wild green yonder. I think they should change that toe "Bend to the wild green yonder" just to keep it consistent. Is there a basketball court in the top of matterhorn mountain?

yup,Disney wanted something surreal,or amusing in there, and he asked the staff, and they said a basketball court(although its just one hoop)..and they played during breaks

there were also rumours of an underground city under main street..and thats pretty much true, lots of corridors and workplaces(workplaces for all the electrical controls for the puppetry etc)
Disney back in the whenever saw a hired cowboy on tomorrow land, the cowboy was going to work in frontier land and had to pass through tomorrow land..so thats when he came up with the idea of underground tunnels..the tunnels are actually the ground floor, whereas Main street is above ground level

(i am not sure, but i am guessing that it was disneyland he saw that/had that idea, then made it happen for disneyworld)

and also about Disney living in the castle...he didnt, but he had an apartment above the main street fire dept..which has been kept in the same condition from the 60s

he did have a fire pole but some kids got up the pole one day and got into the apartment,so he had it blocked off

cool stuff if you are into all that
