Figures...

Ken Lay, founder of Enron died today of an apparent heart attack. He was to be sentenced in the Enron Scandal this Fall after being convicted earlier this year. I swear, some people will do ANYTHING to stay out of jail. He probably had his coronary after hearing he wouldn't be going to one of those country club prisons, but a full grab your ankles and drop the soap penitrate-in-booty-pen.

As a former Arthur Andersen Employee Affected by his run of the crook operation, Ken you were a bad bad man, and finally karma got you.

Dude... I'm no moralist, as you know, but that's just wrong. The dude's dead. I'm sure he would have preferred dishonor to death. He obviously didn't live by the Bushido. This must have really hit a nerve 'cause I've not known you to take satisfaction in the ill fate of others.

Never have I seen so many innocent people (Andersen, Enron Employees) get f*cked over the coals by a few greedy b*stards like Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling.

Lay and his cronies were still living high on the hog when many of those affected were without jobs and without retirement pensions thanks to the directive that regular joe employees couldn't offload their Enron holdings while the big whigs were folding it up like a b*tch.

With great power comes great responsibility...and they abused it.

Mr Lay got everythign he deserved; actually he was still lucky a quick painless death--he will never know about life in prison. Since he had billions of dollars stashed away in offshore accounts he would have most likely appealed the case and still enjoyed the good life, while the innocent he robbed the Enron and Andersen people will continue to work for the next 30 yrs to try recover some of their retiremtent funds/pensions.

I have to agree, Ken Lay got off easy. I too would have preferred to see him go through a little torture here on earth before dying. Yeah, he's in hell paying for what he did but that probably doesn't make those poor families feel any better.
