A catastrophic event happened to our sister site Team Engrish a couple of weeks ago, and the forum was all but obliterated. But like the phoenix...it rises again from the ashes...introducing... Team Engrish Hyperforce Go Volume 2. Back and better than ever.

In another Phoenix analogy Whackly will also be rising from the ashes this week. I work for an ISP and my internet service is free but it sucks unholy balls since our company was purchased by Charter. I have been working for nearly a month to get these internet problems resolved and during that time I have been merely a ghost in the teamengrish world. However, today two things happened. 1. The light shown at the end of the tunnel here at work when I arrived as it seems that the internet problems will finally get the attentiion they desire. 2. Ironically I had called Qwest this morning and ordered DSL service (which I will keep even if they fix the problems here because the highest upload Charter offers is 256k and although the download on the Qwest line is online 1.5 the upload is 896k). It's possible I will be running both on and off in the future (until the Charter service is no longer free). I could cancel the Charter service but I was (long ago) given 3.0 up to test and it was never removed from my account. So if they do fix the internet problems here it is likely I will be hosting some night and weekend BFII games with the full 32 player limit. If they don't fix the problems with the Charter service I will still be hosting some 15-20 player games with my bitching new lag free Qwest DSL. "Qwest DSL: It's expensitastical!!!!!!"
ps.. for those of you who didn't know I will be losing the 3.0 upload either way when Charter switches our current systems over to their systems within the next few months and once they lay me off and the service is no longer free you couldn't pay me to have charter internet service. Not even with dirty dirty hate sex. Although, Marcia, if you wanted to try and convince me to keep Charter... well..
