Does being absolutely certain that I am above all this make me of it by default?

Dunning - Kruger OMG.. LOLz.. I think these studies were actually inspired by IT personnel.

Lake Wobegon Effect Is it possible that someone has explained central MN without intending to?

I have nothing to say that isn't bitchy, so I won't waste your time. Just imagine that I tried to post a scathing comment but screwed it up somehow.

But in nonbitchyness land, I have heard of the Dunning Kruger effect, although I didn't know it by that name. And I'm sure that you are "of it" but that's ok, just be aware that you are. See, that's where an inferiority complex comes in handy, and when someone tries to tell you that you aren't inferior then you can send them to Wikipedia to make them understand that yes, you are, and they are too.

And ok, I'll say it: "Someone has explained central MN without intending to"? Is it possible the link you are finding was intentional, since Lake Wobegon is "of" central MN? Yeah.
